Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our café and cabins by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing, and wearing face coverings whenever you’re in public areas of our premises. 【In response to the COVID-19 in ‘Café & MOUNTAIN’】

1. Installation of alcohol disinfectants

  • Hand sanitizer is now available throughout our café – near the entrance, the order counter and the washroom.

2. Regular cleaning and disinfecting

  • Disinfectants are regularly used during cleaning, especially in locations frequented by large numbers of people such as the door knob, the handrail, the toilet door/key and the faucet of the washroom.
  • Disinfection of the table used by customers after leaving
  • Disinfection of the menu book after every order

3. Keep social distancing

  • The layout of the tables and seats in our café is arranged with social distancing.
  • The partition has been installed around the front desk to prevent droplet infection for our customers and staff.

4. Wear masks and gloves on duty

  • In consideration of the health and safety of both customers and staff, staff is wearing masks and gloves on duty as a precautionary measure.

5. Open window

  • Our café is always ventilated by opening windows.

2. Cleaning and disinfecting by each guest

  • Disinfectants are regularly used during cleaning, especially in locations frequented by guests such as the door knob, the toilet door, the faucet of the washroom, amenities and electric switches.
  • Disinfection of Cabin equipment such as the tableware, the remote controllers, the dryer and slippers.

3. Keep social distancing

  • The partition has been installed around the front desk to prevent droplet infection for our guests and staff.

4. Wear masks and gloves on duty

  • In consideration of the health and safety of both guests and staff, staff is wearing masks and practicing proper hand sanitization (or wearing gloves) on duty as a precautionary measure.

5. Open window

  • Our cabins are ventilated for 24 hours. Air in each cabin can be replaced immediately if you open the door to the shower room.

【Efforts for staff】

  • Staff is wearing masks on duty. Calling for attention to staff for proper handwashing, gargling, good manners to cough.
  • Our staff is required to check his/her body temperature and health condition every day. If a body temperature of the associate is equal to or higher than 37 degrees Celsius or the associate is feeling unwell, he/she is not allowed to work .
  • Our staff is highly recommended practicing proper hand sanitization on duty.
  • If a case with infectious disease has been found in our café/ cabin, we take appropriate measures promptly.

【To Guests/Customers in response to the COVID-19 】

  • If you have a fever which is equal to or higher than 37.5 degrees Celsius, cough, feeling of dyspnea and sense of fatigue, we kindly ask you to refrain from visiting. If you are feeling unwell after visiting, please speak to our staff immediately.
  • We ask you to wear a mask in our café except for eating and drinking or during your stay.
  • You are highly recommended practicing frequent handwashing and proper hand sanitization in our café and cabin.
  • We ask you to keep social distancing in our café. You would be requested to refrain from entering our café when crowded.
  • We ask you to finish within one hour in our café.
  • We ask all guests for accommodation to check their body temperature when checking in to our cabin. If you have a fever which is equal to or higher than 37.5 degrees Celsius, we reserve the right to refuse accommodation and access to the cabin based on your health condition.
  • We ask all guests for accommodation to present their valid ID and contact details when checking in to our cabin.

In addition, the above measures and business conditions may be updated or changed in accordance with the policies indicated by the Japanese government, the Hakuba village and related organizations in the future. In that case, we will inform you again.
